Since our inception in 2018, Digital Minds Africa has been at the forefront of driving digital transformation in rural communities across Western Uganda, with a focus on the Mbarara and Kanungu districts. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by equipping individuals and communities with essential digital literacy skills that unlock opportunities and enhance livelihoods.
Empowering Communities through Digital Literacy
In the past few years, we’ve trained over 1,230 individuals, ranging from students to small business owners, in essential digital skills. Our tailored programs have enabled community members to access information, improve communication, and harness the power of technology for economic growth.
Strengthening Education
We have partnered with local schools to integrate digital literacy into the curriculum, providing students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age. Our initiatives have supported teachers with digital resources and training, enhancing the overall educational experience in our target districts.
Supporting Local Businesses
Through our workshops and training sessions, we have empowered small business owners in Mbarara and Kanungu to leverage digital tools to enhance their operations. From learning how to market their products online to managing finances using digital platforms, these businesses are now better equipped to thrive in a competitive market.

Our School Feeding Program goes beyond just providing meals—it’s about cultivating a culture of health and sustainability among children.
